Mr. Shabani focuses on civil litigation, representing and counseling clients in a variety of civil disputes, including business litigation, real estate litigation, lien priority disputes, complex civil litigation, breach of contract, torts, breach of fiduciary duties, professional malpractice, and environmental law. Furthermore, Mr. Shabani has experience representing businesses, nonprofits, and other persons and entities in civil disputes against various government agencies.
Mr. Shabani obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree with a double-major in Political Science and Legal Studies, from University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Shabani obtained his Juris Doctor degree from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in 2009 and has been an active member of the California State Bar since 2009. In addition to his law degree, Mr. Shabani also obtained a Certificate of Advocacy from McGeorge School of Law.
While in Law School, Mr. Shabani was the recipient of Dean’s Scholarship, Alumni Scholarship, Tracy G. Helms Memorial Scholarship, and B. Abbot Goldberg Memorial Scholarship, as well as the Honor’s at Entrance Scholarship. Additionally, Mr. Shabani was an editor and author for the California Initiative Review. Furthermore, Mr. Shabani was a Teacher’s Assistant and Workshop Leader in his law school’s Trial and Appellate Advocacy Program, where he helped students improve their legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
